Working abroad, one more step

I was doing my work with my manager on last Monday
Our topic was about forecasting,
I can't tell very much about it but actually I helped my manager together to do forecasting for specific account
It was 11.00 and I started to get sleepy, but I believe what I was doing is about my responsibility,
and I was pleased to do that :)
Tik tok tik tok, seconds by seconds passed.
I looked at her and I talked to myself, "Being a manager is really hard God, she goes home at midnight"
Then I revised my thoughts quickly because I knew, she reached her dreams by working passionately


Then I started helping her again, and it stopped in one conversation
She asked me "Asta, where do you plan to go for the next rotation?"
And she asked me again, "Don't you want to work overseas?"
And I looked at her and spontaneously said "Absolutely I want!"
Then she said about working overseas, so many opportunities, so complicated culture, and challenging competition
I listened to her and of course she knew about working overseas, because she was sent to Unilever Singapore 2 years ago


And finally, I was surprised of what she said because she offered me a chance for working abroad!
I was so happy but still stay humble because I there is the God who decides

And the day after tomorrow, I was called by my senior manager and my direct manager, Mbak Wuri
I thought it was about my final presentation which will be held on Sept or about my project
Surprisingly, they said that my next appointment is in Singapore, Supply Chain Finance for Asia
They said that I should prepare my passport, my resident permit, and soon
But it will be happened when I passed my final presentation
I thanked to God for this chance, I am so happy that Unilever Indonesia, especially my division thought that I am good enough
Sent to region by Unilever is one in a million chance, because it's very rare
I may say that my struggle in Unilever was not easy, from someone who don't know anything and weak, to be a learner that stay hungry to learn, and now keep focusing on my future :)


I love you God, I love you my family, I love you dear Marco, I love you my friends
Never stop fighting, cause everytrhing is possible when you're trying to achieve it
Also, never forget to thank God for every second that God gives to me
